IDR Medical is pleased to announce that James Fox has joined our Global team as a Senior Consultant. Prior to joining IDR Medical in 2010 James was a Global Business Analysis Manager at Roche Pharmaceuticals in the Virology and Inflammation division. James was responsible for:
The delivery of global strategic insight on business issues affecting key inflammation & virology brands covering indications in HIV, influenza, transplant, asthma/COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, psoriasis & more
Contributing to global business decisions for in-line brands as a core member of the global business team, and coordinator of local/global strategic analysis functions.
Valuing the franchise R&D assets & supporting go/no-go decisions on in-house and in-licensing opportunities at each major development decision point.
Prior to his position at Roche James was the Managing Director and Founder of Fox Analytics; a pharmaceutical market research and analysis agency which employed 11 professional staff, with clients including Pfizer, J&J and AstraZeneca.
James has also worked for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office in China & Taiwan where he was Section Head– Science & Technology. James began his career as an Equity researcher for Healthcare stocks.
James holds a BSc in Biology from Sussex University, an MSc in Innovation & Technology Management as well as an MSc in Infectious Diseases.
